Hong Kong, we are thrilled to announce that our new Arabica store is ready for its grand opening, and this one is truly special. Known for its incredible airport, Hong Kong has been a location we've long aspired to open a store in. Although previous attempts saw us competing with other brands, our time has finally come. We have secured an amazing location at the beginning of the famous long concourse.

This store features two state-of-the-art roasting machines, allowing us to roast beans to order—even just before your flight—so you can enjoy the freshest coffee on your travels.

For the store design, we had the pleasure of collaborating with the renowned Vietnamese design studio NKAA. Here are the designer’s notes:

🛫 Hong Kong International Airport is one of the busiest passenger airports in the world. Amidst over 220 shops and 60 restaurants, you can find the Arabica store located on level 6, at Terminal 1’s Departures East Hall.

The kitchen area, situated right at the main entrance, is designed to welcome as many customers as possible. Inspired by an aircraft's cabin, the store's shape features a combination of many white curved bars. The design includes a counter table that accommodates customers with large luggage when ordering and a cozy waiting bench on the opposite side.

Customers can easily find the entrance to the seating area, where a long line of stool seats offers stunning airplane views. To the left of the cabin, a window to the roasting room is strategically placed for ordering beans. The design of the iconic bean cellar and merchandise shelf harmonizes seamlessly in shape and color with the store's overall aesthetic.
