Shenzhen got its first taste of Arabica in March 2019, when we opened a quirky little kiosk on the first floor of The MixC shopping complex in the city’s Nanshan district. Sharing the same distinctive silhouette as the “Spring Bamboo” skyscraper towering in the background, the kiosk serves young professionals needing a coffee boost on the go. Nanshan is an up-and-coming district that has attracted a number of high-tech firms and start-ups to set up shop here, and The MixC is a particularly popular new hangout.
